About This Yarn

This is a gorgeous cotton yarn.
It is soft and velvety and plump with a soft twist, making it squishier than our other cottons. The yarn takes the dye really nicely. We recommend Procion MX/ Fiber reactive dyes for this yarn, See page 4 for more information on preparation for cellulose fibres. We used a 3.75mm needle to keep the fabric a bit more dense and it worked nicely. We think this would make a wonderful woven fabric, but care would need to be taken using it as a warp (although strong enough), as it is softly spun and continued friction may make the fibres fluff up.
